Road to the Minto Cup: Seeds, Series, Schedules and Scores

The 2026 Minto Cup will be played at the Max Bell Centre in Calgary, Alberta from August 16-23.

Canada’s National Junior A tournament will see the host Raiders Lacrosse Club automatically entered into the Minto, while Ontario Junior Lacrosse League, British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League, and Rocky Mountain Junior A Lacrosse League (Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba) postseason champions will also compete for this year’s Cup.

Last year, the Coquitlam Adanacs won their second straight Minto Cup, becoming the first British Columbia-based club to win in Ontario since 1977. Their historic win ranked #1 in The Lax Mag’s Top 30 Stories of 2025.

The St. Catharines Athletics have been our #1 more than any other team this year, a super-short list that also only includes the Coquitlam Adanacs, who sat in the top spot for the first month of this year’s National Junior ‘A’ Rankings.
